ASIP Technologies Private Limited is a unique venture by Silicon Valley professionals, to set up a World-class Semiconductor OSAT/ ATMP facility, an important value-added ecosystem in Semiconductor manufacturing, which is to be established for the first time on a commercial scale in India.
India’s “Make in India” initiative has resulted in substantial value-added manufacturing getting established in India, especially in Consumer Electronics, IT and Computer systems, and Mobile phone manufacturing, with India becoming the 2nd largest manufacturer in the world. The Government has prioritized ongoing support for the ESDM sector by enabling policy initiatives that have made the environment favorable for value-added manufacturing in India.
OSAT/ ATMP process contributes about 30-40% of the value of an IC, depending on the packaging and leads.
ASIP Technologies is approved by Government of India’s India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) for 50% Capex.
